Manuel L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz"},"content":{"rendered":"<section  class='av_textblock_section av-l80h2gf0-97be96c1d5ffddd045a85489b1a8f421'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Lamentamos la irreparable p\u00e9rdida de Manuel L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz, vocal de la Junta Directiva de la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Ret\u00f3rica (SE-Ret) y director de nuestra revista, gran estudioso de la comunicaci\u00f3n, trabajador infatigable por la defensa de las lenguas cl\u00e1sicas y, ante todo, excelente persona y entra\u00f1able colega. Manuel L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz fue, hasta su triste fallecimiento el d\u00eda 12 de julio de 2022, Catedr\u00e1tico de Filolog\u00eda Latina de la Universidad de Almer\u00eda. Se licenci\u00f3 en Filosof\u00eda y Letras (secci\u00f3n de Filolog\u00eda Cl\u00e1sica) en la Universidad de Granada en 1989 y se doctor\u00f3 en Filolog\u00eda Cl\u00e1sica por la misma universidad en 1994. Desde su c\u00e1tedra en la Universidad de Almer\u00eda, en la que trabajaba desde hac\u00eda casi 30 a\u00f1os, fue un decidido impulsor de los estudios de ret\u00f3rica latina y neolatina- y de las formas actuales de la comunicaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica y persuasiva en diversos foros e instituciones. Manuel L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz fue uno de los profesores m\u00e1s activos y queridos del claustro de la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad de Almer\u00eda y muy apreciado por todos sus colegas en esta y otras universidades, as\u00ed como en las sociedades cient\u00edficas de las que form\u00f3 parte por su val\u00eda acad\u00e9mica, su eficaz e incansable trabajo y su bonhom\u00eda. Como prueba de su incesante compromiso acad\u00e9mico, cabe mencionar que fue decano de su facultad, director del Centro de I+D \u201cComunicaci\u00f3n y Sociedad\u201d e investigador principal del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n \u201cEl legado de la Antig\u00fcedad\u201d de su universidad. En atenci\u00f3n a sus grandes m\u00e9ritos, el pasado mes de mayo recibi\u00f3 el Premio Nacional \u2018Promotor de los Estudios Latinos 2022\u2019 por parte de la Sociedad de Estudios Latinos. Fue miembro de esta sociedad cient\u00edfica, de la SE-Ret, y tambi\u00e9n de la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Estudios Cl\u00e1sicos, de la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Ling\u00fc\u00edstica, de la International Society for the History of Rhetoric y de la International Association for Neo-Latin Studies. Descanse en paz nuestro querido amigo y colega.
